Carroll lodge sets youth fishing derby

The June 20 event at Camp Aldersgate in Carrollton is open to ages 7-15, with gear for the first 50 children

The Carroll Masonic Lodge will host a Youth Fishing Derby from noon to 4 p.m. June 20 at Camp Aldersgate, 3276 Dyewood Road SW, Carrollton.

The event is open to children ages 7-15 who enjoy fishing or want to learn. Lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at noon.

Fishing poles and bait will be provided for the first 50 children to arrive.

Reservations are requested. To reserve a spot, text Bill Nichols at 330-575-6486 or Mark Walters at 330-312-7100.

The event will be held rain or shine.
