Robert Rowe

Bob Rowe
Together Again

Heaven just got a little rowdier. Robert "Bob" Rowe of Millersburg decided to take the stairway to heaven on April 5, 2026. He was born on May 12,1942 to Clifford and Leora (Chaney) Rowe.

He moved to Perry, Iowa, in 1962 where he met Lucille (Annear), they married in 1963 and produced three unique offspring. Roxanne (Jeff) Jones of Millersburg, Mike Rowe who is on the mantle, and Cynthia (LeRoy) Swinehart of Orrville.

As church going kids, we were taught to be fruitful and multiply creating the tree that bloomed many different tree branches. He ended his life having 10 grandkids, 33 great-grand kids and three great-great-grandkids.

Many will remember him as a comedian, others will be like wow, but he worked on the Milwaukee railroad in Perry at the roundhouse where he taught us to drive the trains and look for the big a** bull snakes (he hated snakes). Worked at the foundry until he uprooted us and moved us to Ohio in 1982. Where he worked as a local po-po and then was a night ninja (security) at JPH and finally, retiring from Lynn Hope.

He loved camping, fishing, and drinking at the bottoms with lifelong friends Roger and Jackie (Mrs. Wagondorf).

Survived by his daughters, Rox and Cyn; sons-in-law who were always sons to him, Jeff and LeRoy; many nieces and nephews; his sister Brenda and two brothers Chuck and Jim; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille; sons Mike and Robert D; his parents Clifford and Leora; his in-laws Maurice and Isabelle; sisters Cathy and Shirly; and two great-grandkids Stormy and Derrick.

Whether he liked you or not it was always black and white, as for us girls, we are still trying to figure out which it was for us (we knew he loved us).

The family is following his wishes of no funeral. If you knew him, remember him in your own way. If you want to live forever don't be like him and stop breathing like he did. In lieu of flowers, due to his friends not being able to attend because they decided to beat him to the pearly gates, we are having grave side services only with a luncheon afterward.

His change of address is as follows: Killbuck cemetery which is about three blocks from the VFW.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10th at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio with Padre Jeff Jones officiating.
