Susan A. Schlabach, 48, of Sugarcreek, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27, 2026, from a possible heart attack.

She was born on February 23, 1978, to Abe Jr. and Mary (Miller) Schlabach.

Susan was employed by Mavin in Winesburg and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was a favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by everyone.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers and sisters, Larry (Ruth) Schlabach of Mt. Eaton, Allen (Esther) Schlabach of Bunker Hill, Laura (Roy Alan) Hershberger of Dundee, Mark Schlabach of Stone Creek, Marie (Raymond) Mast of Apple Creek, Leon Schlabach and Marlin Schlabach both of the home; 25 nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Freda and nephew, David Lee Hershberger.

Funeral services were held at the home, 4150 SR 93 NW, Sugarcreek, on Monday, March 30, at 9 a.m. with Bishop Joseph P. Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Hershberger Cemetery. Friends could call at the home after 2 p.m. on Saturday and any time on Sunday.
