Rhonda Jean (White) Hanus, 75, died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her residence.

She was born June 11, 1950, in Mt. Vernon to the late Herbert P. and Jessie (Lauderbaugh) White. She was a 1968 graduate of East Knox High School, and an active member of the Ohio Order of Eastern Star Glenwood Chapter 303.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Fred Hanus of Danville, whom she married Aug. 16, 1975; three siblings, Gwen (Jim) Dugan of Bladensburg, Paul White of Canton, and Joretta White of Worthington; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, at Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Dave Jones officiating.

Burial followed at Workman Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
