On June 12, Chantel Corrie, executive director of Midwest Mission, presented the Legacy of Love Award in Honor of Beth Prince at Gay Street United Methodist Church.
For 12 years, Prince faithfully served alongside Midwest Mission. She took 12 mission trips, gave generously of her time and talents, and shared the story of Midwest Mission wherever she went. She understood that mission is not simply something we support — it is something we live.
She championed her church (Gay Street UMC) as a permanent collection site, helping gather resources that would bring hope and dignity to people around the world and around the corner. Because of her dedication, more donations were collected, more volunteers became involved, and more lives were touched by the love of Christ.
Although Prince is no longer with us, her work did not end with her passing.
