Senior Spring Extravaganza to celebrate older Americans

Mardi-gras style event will be May 29 in Mansfield

A free Senior Spring Extravaganza will be held Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mansfield.

The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. will host a free Senior Spring Extravaganza on Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mid-Ohio Education Center, 890 W. 4th St., Mansfield.

In partnership with the Administration for Community Living, this year’s Older Americans Month theme is Champion Your Health. Many sponsors, community-based organizations, and vendors will be participating in the event.

Area Agency on Aging will celebrate older adults with a festive Mardi Gras-style event focused on healthy and positive aging. Guests will enjoy helpful resources and information on aging-related topics, along with a free lunch, BINGO, an on-site classic car show, music by Randy Velez, and a variety of community vendors to keep your feet moving while celebrating health and wellness.
