Robert Crise Sr.

MT. VERNON- Robert Greer Crise, Sr., 96, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Danbury Mt. Vernon. He was born November 1, 1929, in Mt. Vernon to the late George Washington and Beatrice B. (Greer) Crise. He served in the United States Navy from 1952-1955, and in 1954 he married Mary Eileen Maddock. She preceded him in death in 2006. He was the former owner & operator of Patented Products in Danville, an avid golfer, and an active member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon.

  Robert is survived by a son, Bruce J. Crise (Lisa D. Chong) of Washington Grove, MD; a grandson, Owen L. Crise; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Crise and Caroline Maddock.

  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert G. Crise, Jr.; a daughter, Eileen Crise; his brother, Richard C. Crise; brothers-in-law, Adm. Thomas Maddock, and Joseph (Mary Lou) Maddock; and a sister-in-law, Patricia (Albert) Gates.
