Francine Renee Bishop
Francine “Renee” Bishop, age 69, went home to the Lord and reunited in heaven with her husband Ron on May 22, 2026.
Renee was born in Newark, Ohio, on April 16, 1957, to the late John & Barbara (Miskimens) Weaver. In her early 20’s she and her eldest daughter Melissa moved to Houston, Texas, where she met the love of her life Ron Bishop and the three became a family when they married on September 30, 1984. Their family grew with two more daughters, Courtney & Deseree and they moved to Ohio, in 1989, and made a home in Buckeye Lake.
As a mother & wife, she always had a knack for making those around her feel special and seen. Family was everything to her. Living at the lake for many years, she enjoyed boat rides, good Mexican food, hosting family and friends, visits to the ocean and tending to her flower garden. Many that knew her & Ron gathered around their kitchen island for birthdays, holidays, and celebrations.
In her roles as Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife, Memaw and the countless professional roles she had over the years, Renee most enjoyed caring for others. Her husband, her “girls & grands” and her “baby dog” Sydney was her world. She loved reconnecting with old friends when she moved back to her hometown of Coshocton. She often spoke of how much she cherished those relationships, how special they were to her and of course, the fun they had together.
Renee is survived by her three daughters Melissa (Clint) Appleman of Newark, Courtney (Scott) Bishop of Glouster, Deseree (Steven) Lothes of Newark; seven grandchildren, Carter (Aliviya), Savannah, Addison, Dayton, Caroline, Johnathan & Brady; three sisters Shelley McCarty of Coshocton, Josie (Randy) Huber of Heath and Nicole (Brent) Medley of Coshocton; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, countless special friends and her loving dog, Sydney.
Along with her parents and husband, Renee is preceded in death by her in-laws, Jim (Jean) Bishop and Mary Polk and her brother-in-law, David McCarty.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Renee on June 13, 2026, at 4pm at Clary Gardens Covered Pavilion, 588 West Chestnut Street, Coshocton. The family invites guests to wear their favorite florals or spring/summer colors (not black) in honor of Renee’s colorful spirit and would love to hear memories and invite those who are comfortable to share during the celebration. Given-Dawson Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
