OSU Extension Holmes County, with Mapping Solutions, announced the release of the recently published Holmes County Plat Book.
This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within Holmes County including property boundaries for all rural parcels. Along with landownership maps are the new enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps that show a 3D-like topographical look at the local land. A landowner index allows for easy identification of any rural landowner in the county. Detailed street maps for each village also are included.
This information is valuable to anyone interested, particularly those who own land in Holmes County.
Information on landowners is determined by the size and shape of the land parcel and may include all or part of the following: acreage, owner initials, abbreviated or full name, and secondary owner. Landowners within rural subdivisions and city limits are not shown. As with any document using public data as its source, this publication is a snapshot of the land use at the time the records were pulled.
This new edition also includes information on OSU Extension Holmes County programs, a watersheds map, county road map, municipality maps and more.
The 2026 Holmes County Plat Book is available for purchase for $25 at the OSU Extension Holmes County office, 111 E. Jackson St. Books can be mailed upon request for an additional fee. Call 330-674-3015 to request.
Those interested also can register for a chance to win a free premium wall map or a SmartMap. For more information call the office. Drawings will be held May 15.
Wall maps, a smartphone-friendly SmartMap and an eBook version are all also available for purchase by visiting www.mappingsolutionsgis.com.
