James A. Pirrung, 68, of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton following a brief illness.

Pirrung was a truck driver and construction worker for several years.

He is survived by his mother, four sisters and numerous other family members and friends.

The Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service is planned for later this week.
