Minerva Area Historical Society to meet April 27
The program will feature Ann and Jim Hull, who will discuss the new business they have expanded through Summit Glove and Public Health Safety
The Minerva Area Historical Society will meet April 27 at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the Minerva Public Library, 677 Lynwood Drive, Minerva.
The program will feature Ann and Jim Hull, who will discuss the new business they have expanded through Summit Glove and Public Health Safety. Visual Detection Systems introduces First Defense Wipes, a fentanyl detection presumptive test designed to enhance the safety of law enforcement and public safety personnel on the front lines.
The wipe is a simple-to-use, rapid-response fentanyl detection product that provides immediate identification of fentanyl during drug-related incidents and investigations.
The Hulls have remained at the forefront of current and innovative ideas and have produced products to help in many areas.
The public is invited to attend and hear about this local business. Light refreshments will be offered.
The Haas Museum, 128 N. Market St., is open every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Upcoming events include opening on Second Fridays. Look for special activities celebrating America’s 250th anniversary during the summer months.
The May 18 meeting will feature DAR members discussing Revolutionary War soldiers buried in area cemeteries, with a focus on Edward S. Whitacre.
Questions may be directed to President Linda Cowden at 330-771-2760. Donations to the museum may be made by appointment or by stopping in on Wednesdays.
Area residents are encouraged to join the Historical Society. Preserving history is indeed part of the future.
