Early voting continues for May 5 primary/special election
There is a need for alternate poll workers who would be available on short notice and willing to go to any location
Voters have one more week to cast early ballots for the May 5 primary/special election.
The Board of Elections office, located on the ground floor of the Carroll County Courthouse, will be open Monday, April 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Tuesday, April 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (the last day absentee ballot request forms will be accepted); Wednesday, April 29, through Friday, May 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, May 3, from 1 to 5 p.m., the final day of early voting.
Voters with disabilities that make it difficult to enter the polling location may use curbside voting, located in the alley beside the courthouse. They should call the office to let officials know they are there or to set up an appointment at 330-627-2610.
On Election Day, all polling locations will open at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5. Voting ends at 7:30 p.m., according to Deloris Kean, director of elections.
Sample ballots are available on the Board of Elections website at boe.ohio.gov/carroll.
There is a need for alternate poll workers who would be available on short notice and willing to go to any location, Kean said.
