Ohio launches kindergarten immunization dashboard
The dashboard provides information to school officials, parents and policymakers
Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff announced the launch of a new dashboard that makes Ohio’s kindergarten immunization data more accessible to the public.
The dashboard, titled “Annual Ohio Kindergarten Immunization Level Assessment,” is now live on the state’s DataOhio portal.
“This interactive dashboard gives Ohioans a wealth of important, accessible information,” Vanderhoff said. “By making this data easier to understand and explore, we hope to support informed decision-making that will help protect children and families from vaccine-preventable diseases.”
Immunizations offer protection against a range of serious diseases. The dashboard provides information to school officials, parents and policymakers about the potential risk of vaccine-preventable diseases in their communities.
Ohio law requires all schools to report summary immunization data to the Ohio Department of Health each year. The dashboard allows the public to access kindergarten immunization data showing current vaccination and exemption rates by county, school and specific vaccine, including MMR and DTaP.
The dashboard includes data from the 2017-18 school year through the current 2025-26 school year and will be updated annually.
