Rotary Club brings back train-naming contest
Names will be judged on creativity, relevance to Tuscora Park’s spirit and charm and memorability
The New Philadelphia Rotary Club announced the return of the Name the Tuscora Park Train contest.
The contest is open to children ages 18 and younger. Participants are invited to submit a creative, fun and family-friendly name for the Tuscora Park train, one of the park’s most cherished attractions.
Entry forms are available at the Tuscora Park main office and at newphiladelphiarotary.com. One entry is allowed per person, and entries are due May 30.
Names will be judged on creativity, relevance to Tuscora Park’s spirit and charm, and memorability.
The winner will be announced June 1.
The winner will receive an RTY Inc. gift basket featuring exclusive merchandise, a Tuscora Park VIP package that includes a $100 RTY gift card and free ride tickets, a custom plaque displayed at the train station with the winning name and winner’s name, and a special photo opportunity with the train to be shared on the Rotary Club’s social media pages.
The winning name will be displayed at the Tuscora Park train station.
