Alyssa Miller of New Philadelphia is among Baldwin Wallace University student-athletes who will receive the 2025-26 Outstanding Senior Athlete Award.

The Kenneth Steingass Most Outstanding Male Athlete Award has been presented since 1948-49, while the Marcia French Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award was first presented in 1981-82. Both are presented annually to a deserving senior, as voted on by the coaches.

Miller becomes the 13th women’s basketball player to earn the honor, including the second straight and fourth in the past five years. In her final season, Miller started all 29 games. She was named OAC Defender of the Year after leading the league with 49 blocks. She averaged 4.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

In her career, Miller totaled 488 points, 458 rebounds and 138 assists. She also recorded 131 career blocks, second most in program history.

Off the court, Miller was a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Jacket Scholar and member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
