Democrats to hold organizational meeting
The organizational meeting is held every four years following the election of Central Committee members
The Tuscarawas County Democratic Party will hold its organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Democratic Headquarters, 1260 Monroe St. NW, Suite 171, New Philadelphia.
“The organizational meeting is held every four years following the election of Central Committee members,” said Martha Campbell, Central Committee chair.
At the meeting, 45 newly elected Central Committee members will elect Central Committee officers, create the Executive Committee and elect the chair of the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee is responsible for managing the affairs of the Tuscarawas County Democratic Party; directing and conducting campaign activities; carrying out the general policies of the party organization; promoting the interests and ideals of the Democratic Party; and performing all party duties required by statute.
