Tuscarawas Arts Partnership launches annual appeal
The campaign highlights how the arts connect and strengthen the community through education, public programs, performances, exhibitions, grants and creative opportunities
The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership has launched its 2026-2027 annual appeal, “The Arts Flow Through Us,” celebrating the impact of arts and culture throughout Tuscarawas County while encouraging community support for future programming and advocacy.
The campaign highlights how the arts connect and strengthen the community through education, public programs, performances, exhibitions, grants and creative opportunities for residents of all ages.
Over the years, TAP has expanded its reach across Tuscarawas County, awarding more than 30 grants to support local arts initiatives while preparing to celebrate the 10th season of Art on the Alley. TAP also is planning its 10th Arts Signing Day, an event that has recognized 111 students pursuing arts-related opportunities after high school.
Funds raised through the appeal will support TAP’s mission to advance arts and culture in Tuscarawas County through advocacy, arts education initiatives, grantmaking, community events and partnerships with local artists and organizations.
“The arts are woven into the fabric of our community,” Executive Director Wilma Mullet said. “They inspire creativity, bring people together, support local economies, and provide opportunities for expression and connection. This campaign is about ensuring those opportunities continue to grow and remain accessible for everyone.”
“TAP exists because we believe the arts belong to everyone,” Public Relations and Outreach Coordinator Mary Maxwell said. “Whether it’s a student discovering their passion, an artist finding support, or a community gathering together through creativity, the arts create meaningful connections that impact lives every day. We’re proud to continue building those opportunities throughout Tuscarawas County.”
Community members may support the campaign through one-time or recurring donations. TAP encourages both longtime supporters and first-time donors to participate in sustaining and expanding arts opportunities across the county.
