West Union Church to celebrate 200 years
Church services based on original services held at the church will begin at 10:30 a.m.
West Union Church will celebrate its bicentennial June 28.
Church services based on original services held at the church will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Garry Marlatt, followed by a light lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The bicentennial program will begin at 2 p.m. and feature Jon Baker speaking on the history of the Gilmore area, Chris Hart giving a reenactment of church life in the 1800s, Patty Maag and Weston Gray sharing West Union’s history and Rudy Glazer offering a salute to veterans.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The church is at 13679 Gilmore Road, just south of Gilmore.
