Dover American Legion to hold Memorial Day ceremony
The keynote speaker will be Gary W. Cox Jr., first vice commander of the Ohio American Legion

Dover American Legion Post 205 will hold a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 25, at Maple Grove Cemetery, 1000 N. Walnut St. in Dover. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.
The keynote speaker will be Gary W. Cox Jr., first vice commander of the Ohio American Legion. The Dover High School Band and the Ars Nova Singers will provide patriotic musical selections.

The Gettysburg Address will be presented by Owen Shurtz, and “In Flanders Fields” will be presented by Addyson Colaner. Both are eighth graders at Dover Middle School.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at Memorial Hall, 410 N. Wooster Ave., Dover.
