Buckeye Career Center BPA students earn national honors
Madison Harmon of Claymont earned third place in intermediate word processing and Kaiden Pack of Strasburg finished fifth in computer network technology
Several members of the Buckeye Career Center Business Professionals of America chapter earned top rankings at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference, held May 6-10 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Business and marketing senior Madison Harmon of Claymont earned third place in intermediate word processing. Computer technology senior Kaiden Pack of Strasburg finished fifth in computer network technology. Both students are two-time national winners.
Other students who competed at nationals include business and marketing students Logan McPeek of Indian Valley and Jaxon Jones of Garaway, along with computer technology students Evan Russell of New Philadelphia, Jackson Rice of Buckeye Career Center, Bobbie Brown of New Philadelphia, Isadore Hanlin of Malvern and Jaylyn Young of Indian Valley.
Buckeye Business Academy at East Holmes students Jenna Troyer and Mosheh Crossan also attended and competed at nationals.
The students are instructed by Heather Irwin, business and marketing; Amy Stauffer-McNutt, Buckeye Business Academy at East Holmes; and Bill Alexander, computer technology/network systems.
