Grace Church sets Coshocton VBS dates

The four-day program for children age 4 through children entering sixth grade will run June 22-25 at the Presbyterian Church on Fourth and Chestnut streets in Coshocton

While summer temperatures may be rising, children attending Vacation Bible School at Grace United Methodist Church will head to a snowy mountain adventure.

The Grace Church education team is putting finishing touches on this year’s VBS, called Snowball Mountain Challenge — With Jesus we can do all things. The four-day program will transport children to a winter sports-inspired setting.

According to Grace Church Pastor Deb Quillen, the VBS theme is based on a verse from the Bible in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

Quillen said this verse shows God’s strength through Jesus can help believers face all challenges.

Each day at VBS, children will spend time with Ollie, the Arctic Seal and the activities director, who will help the children explore Old and New Testament stories from the Bible and learn how God helps Bible heroes face obstacles and accomplish great things. Children will be encouraged to share the Gospel of Jesus.

Children age 4 through children entering sixth grade in the fall are welcome to attend Monday through Thursday, June 22-25 at the Grace Church temporary location at the Presbyterian Church on the corner of Fourth and Chestnut streets in Coshocton. Each day will begin at 12:30 p.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. It will start with lunch for the children and then proceed on with Bible stories, music, crafts, games and science experiments.

Parents/guardians interested in enrolling their children may call Grace Church at 740-622-1302. A completed registration form is required for each child to attend. This form can be obtained through the church office, mailed to families upon request or completed on the first day of VBS.
