Florence E. Dobson
CONESVILLE- Florence Elizabeth Dobson, 90, of Conesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the home of her granddaughter. She was born April 2, 1935, in Licking Co. to the late Clarence and Evelyn (Parrish) Donavan. She married Delmont Dobson, Sr. on July 13, 1953, who preceded her in death April 5, 2014. Florence was a Lifetime member of Silver Bar Saddle Club. She was a 4-H Advisor in Coshocton County for many years. She was active with the Coshocton County 4-H Horse Committee, helping in any way she could. She had a love for horses, cats, and dogs. She loved being outdoors, mowing, square dancing, cleaning, and playing cards.
Florence never met a stranger. She loved talking to people. In her younger years, she worked at Cox's potato farm and helped on her family farm. For the past six years she enjoyed spending quality time with her devoted granddaughter Angela, tagging along wherever she went.She is survived by her daughter, Patsy (John) Miller; son, Delmont (Debra) Dobson, Jr.; grandchildren, Angela (Dustin) Wright, Allen (Cindy) Braniger, DeAnn (Richard) Stiteler, and Delmont Dobson, III; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dayle Dobson; a grandson, Duane Dobson; and her three sisters, Dorothy, Paulene, and Norma Jean.
In keeping with Florence's wishes there will be no services and she will be cremated. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Interim Hospice for their compassionate support.
