John E. Bussard
WEST LAFAYETTE- John E. Bussard, 78, died Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Altercare Majora Lane in Millersburg.
He was born June 16, 1947, to the late William Arthur "Bill" Bussard and Mary Jane (Craigo) Bussard Emler. He married Helena Gayle (Hawthorne) Bussard on Dec. 18, 1966, who preceded him in death Jan. 31, 2021.
John was a Christian man with a strong Faith. He worked most of his adult life as a carpenter, and retired as a security officer at The Longaberger Co. He loved going hunting, collecting coins, and he always looked forward to the Christmas season. He also loved traveling, taking his family on trips to all parts of the Country.
He is survived by two children, Scott (Darcy) Bussard of Warsaw, and Michelle Bussard of West Lafayette; siblings, Charles (Beverly) Bussard of Coshocton, Sandra (David) Jackson of Canton, MI, Ed (Vicki) Bussard of West Lafayette, Bob Bussard of West Lafayette, and Artie (Phyllis) Bussard of West Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Bussard; and two sisters-in-law, Lynn Bussard, and Mary Bussard.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2025, at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Jim Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23rd at the funeral home. FischerFuneralHome.com
