Connie Irene Smith
Connie Irene Smith, 77, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Genesis Coshocton Medical Center. She was born in Coshocton, OH, on December 26, 1947, to the late H. William “Bill” and Elizabeth “Betty” (Pierce) Smith.Connie was a member of the first class to graduate from the new River View High School in 1966 and enjoyed attending her monthly class dinners. She had previously worked for Roscoe Sweet Shop, Kraft Foods, and various places in home health and the healthcare industry. She enjoyed going to the beach and vacationing but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Connie is survived by her children, Wendy Rust of Coshocton and Jamie (Michelle) Finnell of Dublin; grandchildren Mattie Gibson, Wilson (Maggie) Moats, Emily Rust, Kobe Rust, and Mia and Jace Finnell; great grandchildren: Mason, Jasovelle, Rollin, and Milo Gibson, Maverick Moats, and Scarlett Glatz; sister Edie Smith Harris; and several nieces and nephews.Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her twin brother Louie Smith, and son-in-law Jeff Rust.Calling hours were held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm. The Funeral service began at 1:00pm. Pastor Dail Parrish officiated. Burial followed at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
