Dorothy Leona Phillips
Dorothy Leona Phillips, 93, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025.
She was born March 13, 1932, to the late Dias and Eva Hendrickson. Dorothy married the love of her life, William A. Phillips, on June 7, 1953. He preceded her in death May 12, 2007.
She was a member of Carrollton First United Methodist Church. She and Bill owned and operated Bill’s Tasty Freeze on Main Street in Carrollton.
Survivors include her children, Kathy (Bob) Nuske of Carrollton, Cheryl Dorman of Portland, Ore., Roger (Sandy) Phillips of Elyria, Melinda Walden of New Philadelphia, Shelly (Jack) Albrecht of Mechanicstown, Kevin (Casey) Phillips of Canton and Michael Phillips of Riley, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Norma McGuire of Loda, Ill.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Phillips, and siblings Earl Hendrickson, Ralph Hendrickson, Harold Hendrickson, Lillie Buck, Sarah Baughman, Kallie Auborn, Ethel Buck, Kathleen Baars and Rosella Simms.
There are no services planned.
