Roxie Sutton
Roxie Sutton, 91, passed away peacefully with her children by her side Dec. 21, 2025.
She was born Nov. 1, 1934, to Joseph and Hazel (Gray) Hinton.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Hector” Sutton, whom she missed dearly; and a granddaughter, Mandy McIntosh.
Roxie found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including square dancing, whistling around the house and spending time with the people she loved most. She was a strong believer in God, and her faith carried her through life’s challenges and blessings alike. Her warmth and loving heart will live on in the generations she leaves behind.
She is survived by her children, Vicki (Charlie) Richards, Linda (Dave) Yeager, Mike (Candy) Sutton and Joe (Robyn) Sutton; grandchildren, Janice (Dave) Fleming, Jody Myers, Greg (Jessica) Yeager, Stacy Yeager, Jovan (Katie) Sutton, Joelene Sutton, Bethany Drake and Adam Drake; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Alex, Treston, Jude, Liam, Chelsea, Chloe, Gage, Jayden, Jaxon, Trent, Tripp, Katelynn and Khalei.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A private graveside service was held in Mechanicstown Cemetery.
