Loraine Virginia Moore
Loraine Virginia Moore, 93, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025.
She was born Sept. 21, 1932, to John and Dafiny Atkins.
Loraine graduated from Carrollton High School and married the love of her life, James W. Moore.
Survivors include her nine children: Jim (Debbie) Moore of Carrollton, Barb Hoffman of Minerva, Frank Moore of Carrollton, Larry (Jeannie) Moore of Carrollton, Nancy (Kelly) Brummel of Carrollton, Tom Moore of Carrollton, George Moore of Carrollton, Bill Moore of Carrollton, and Scott Moore of Carrollton. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Loraine was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Atkins and Thomas Atkins; and her sister, Armatha Nichols.
Calling hours were held at Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The funeral followed at 1 p.m.
Burial took place in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton with Rev. Gordon Warner officiating.
