Gary D. Campbell
Gary D. Campbell, 73, of Dellroy, passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, in his home following a long illness.
He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Sandyville, West Virginia, to the late Robert C. and Manzetta D. (Patterson) Campbell.
Gary loved to hunt and fish and dearly loved his dogs, Pyper and Buddy. He worked in maintenance for Summitville Tile.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. “Shorty” Campbell and Larry B. Campbell; a sister, Roberta M. Campbell-Riley; and a nephew, George Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tonya K. (Reese) Campbell; a sister, Susan L. Campbell-Banister; a nephew, Michael Banister; great-nieces and great-nephews, Pheaby Banister, Denver Banister, Wyatt Banister, Sara Henson, Roslynn Turoldo, Kayla (Alex) Doak, Amia Stewart and Mari Stewart; a mother-in-law, Sandra Strahl; a brother-in-law, Dennis Reese; sisters-in-law, Jolynn (Mike) Schrickel, Ann (Chris) Jones and Shelly Strahl; a brother-in-law, Michael (Stephanie) Reese; and nieces and nephews, Charley Newman, Rachel (Christian) Stewart, Jacob (Jennah Leisure) Zimmerman and Tyler Phillips.
Per his wishes, there were no calling hours or services.
The family thanks Crossroads Hospice for its kind and compassionate care.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton.
