Corey A. Armstrong
MOUNT VERNON – Corey Adam Armstrong, 42, died Monday, September 1, 2025, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born June 7, 1983, in Mount Vernon to Kelvin and Brenda (Breckler) Armstrong.
Corey was a 2001 graduate of Danville High School. He loved football and the band during high school. He was a huge Toby Keith fan. He enjoyed music and loved his family.He is survived by his mother, Brenda Michaelis and his brother, Kip Armstrong. His nieces and nephew, Shelby, Colton, & Caleb Armstrong. Also, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Kelvin and grandparents, William & Sharon Breckler, Robert Armstrong, & Margaret Garrad.A funeral service for Corey will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home, in Danville with Father Homer Blubaugh officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
