Brandon Scott Hunt, age 36, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was born in Dover, Ohio, to Brian Hunt and Jennifer Reiser.

Brandon was a 2006 graduate of Coshocton High School and in 2011, he became a Master Diver and Underwater Welder with Ocean Corp., he was also an HVAC technician.

He was incredibly smart, kind and had a goofy, playful personality with the kids. Brandon would do anything for anyone and will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Sylas Hunt and Sylence Hardesty; mother, Jennifer Reiser of Coshocton, father, Brian Hunt; siblings, Brian J. Hunt II of Coshocton, Katy Hunt of Coshocton, Alex (Brittani) Hunt of Zanesville, Ryleigh Parks of Coshocton and Jennah Wohlheter of Coshocton; grandmothers, Judith Reiser and Teresa Gingerich; nieces, Jostalyn Hunt, Breona Hunt, Aria Williams, Chloe Hunt, and Lucy Hunt; nephews, Zaiden Williams and Jaydin Hunt; great-nieces, Journey and Loyalty; several aunts, uncles, including Buddy and Jeff Reiser, cousins, and special friends, Derek Grimmett, Darrell Dovenbarger, and Chris Shepard.

Brandon is preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Hunt, grandparents, Arthur Reiser, Raymond and Kathryn Hunt, Donald Parks, and Eugene and Virgina Drabic; uncles Raymond Reiser and Donnie Parks and good friends, Kasey Walker, Kyle Stubbs, and Dustin Norman.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home.
