Coshocton pregnancy center shifts to appointments

The Pregnancy Center of Coshocton will begin operating under updated hours and an appointment-based service model starting Monday, June 1.

The nonprofit said the changes are intended to help staff and volunteers better serve a growing number of clients while providing more individualized support.

Under the new schedule, the center will be open from 1-7 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays of each month and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday.

Most services will be offered by appointment, which the organization said will help reduce wait times and allow volunteers to provide more personalized attention to clients.

“Our growth has created exciting opportunities for us to improve how we serve the community,” Executive Director Becky Armstrong said. “Moving to an appointment-based model allows us to provide a more efficient and personalized experience while continuing to meet the needs of those who rely on our services.”

The organization said the transition is designed to improve flexibility and client experience while supporting sustainable growth of services.
