Sara L. Coblentz, 97, of Walnut Creek, OH, passed away at the Walnut Hills Retirement Home on Thursday, August 21, 2025, after a period of declining health.
She was born on November 22, 1927, to the late Levi J. and Mary (Miller) Hochstetler. On September 4, 1977, she married Willis J. Coblentz who preceded her in death on December 21, 2006. She was a member of the Amish Church.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Glenn (Elsie) Coblentz, Ben (Arie) Coblentz, Sue (late Ivan) Yoder, Wayne (Ada) Coblentz all of Millersburg, Esther (Ruben) Troyer of Stone Creek; 30 step-grandchildren; 90 step-great-grandchildren; 26 step-great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, John L. (Anna) Hochstetler of Millersburg.
In addition to her parents and her husband Willis, she was preceded in death by her step-son-in-law, Ivan Yoder; step-great-grandson, Charles Miller; a brother, Ivan (Mattie) Hochstetler; and two sisters, Erma (Mart) Schlabach and Clara (Abe) Miller.
Funeral services were held at the John Hershberger residence, 5550 CR 172, Millersburg, on Sunday, August 24, at 9:00 a.m. Bishop Michael Miller officiated. Burial followed at the Raber Cemetery. Friends were able to call at the John Hershberger residence after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
