Ronald Betz
Ronald Betz, 88, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at Centreville Village Assisted Living.
Born June 25, 1937, in Moultrie, Ohio, he was a son of the late Dwight and Ruth Gustuvel Betz.
Ronald worked as a skilled body man for more than 25 years at Guess Motors in Carrollton and later retired from Waynesburg Carriage Company. He was a proud member of both the Carroll County Vets Club and Carroll County Fraternal Order of Eagles 185.
He is survived by his children, Jo Hepner, Vicki (Merrell) Minard and David Betz; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Naylor, Amber Steele, Edward Minard and Ashley Kunkel; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sam Betz and Carol Vogus.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Pat and Donna.
Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, from noon to 2:00 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
Burial will take place at a later date in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
