Robert L. Berkey
Robert L. Berkey, 84, of Carrollton, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 23, 1941, in Johnstown, PA, to the late Robert and Phyllis (Horner) Berkey.
Robert was a graduate of Timken High School and retired from Timken Roller Bearing Company following 42 years of service. He served as commodore of the Atwood Yacht Club and enjoyed boating, bowling, golfing and socializing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth “Betty” (Sisterhen) Berkey.
He is survived by his second wife, Mary Berkey; sons, Mark (Marla) Berkey and Rob (Cyndy) Berkey; grandchildren, Nicole (Scott), Zac (Tabitha), Brittany (Jamie) and Chelsey (Bart); stepchildren, Jon Giannone and Cassie Gerren; and great-grandchildren, Kenley, Laylah, Kloe and Sofie.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Atwood Yacht Club.
