James D. Boring
James D. Boring, 80, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, after a period of declining health.
He was born April 4, 1945, to the late Frank and Elizabeth Boring.
James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Pamela S. Boring, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Chapel Church in Minerva. He retired as a welder from Gradall Industries after 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela S. Boring; stepchildren Kerri (Mark) Sclatter, David (Debra Green) Kovach, and Mandy (Chad) Roach; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Sally Heilman, Barbara Sinclair, Peggy Baxter, Donna (Herb) Cunningham, and Dick (Barb) Boring; and a son-in-law, Brian Kachermeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shelly Kachermeyer; and sister, Mary Sinclair.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Chapel Church, 5320 Arrow Rd. NW, Minerva, with Mark Thomas officiating.
Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home, Carrollton, was entrusted with arrangements.
