Glenn D. Sanderson
Glenn D. Sanderson, 90, of Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2025. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 17, 1935, in Carrollton, he was the son of James H. and Mabel Evelyn (Hurford) Sanderson.
Glenn dedicated 32 years of service to his country as a proud member of the U.S. Naval Reserve. He retired from the GTE phone company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to those he served.
He was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carrollton.
He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Eubank, Connie Phillips, and Heidi (Mike) Lafferty; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, who passed away in 2018; his son, Steven; his daughter, Sonja Moser; his grandson, Matthew Sanderson; his granddaughter, Nichole Moser; and grandsons, James and Jeremy Phillips. Glenn was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sally Morrow, Barbara Sanderson, Nancy Pyatt and Tammy Sanderson.
A memorial service honoring Glenn’s life will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Carrollton.
