Charles A. Turner Jr.
Charles Albert Turner Jr., age 84, of Coshocton passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 1, 1941, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Charles Albert Turner Sr. and Cecilia Marie (Gilgannon) Turner. Following graduation from high school in 1959, Chuck enlisted in the United States Navy serving from 1960 to 1964. Following discharge, he worked for the Clow Corporation in Coshocton and then joined the Coshocton Fire Department in 1967. He was promoted to Captain in 1972 and then with his dedication promoted to Chief in 1980, serving as Chief until his retirement in 2004. On March 20, 1965, he married Bonnie Turner, who survives. Together they raised two children. The two are longtime member of the Coshocton Sacred Heart Church.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Bonnie and son, Charles (Tricia) Turner III of Columbus, Grandchildren, Alex, and Evan Turner.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Turner and brother, Tim Turner.
A cremation will take place at the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory a service will be held in the future.
