Paul R. Hawkins, 57, of Minerva, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2025.

He was born March 20, 1968, in Alliance to Herbert and Barb (Cox) Hawkins of Kensington. 

He worked for KMI Machinery in New Franklin. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of VFW Post 4120 in Minerva, where he formerly served on the drill team. He graduated from Carrollton High School and loved watching and rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Miller) (Dickens) Hawkins, whom he married Aug. 26, 2018; his parents, Herbert and Barb Hawkins; five daughters, Sarah, Jennifer, Jessie, Melanie and Michelle; sister, Tammy Frantum; brother, William Hawkins; and a grandson, Ronan.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 11:30 a.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. 

Burial with full military honors will be Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. in Western Reserve National Cemetery. 

Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
