Larry Lee Calderhead
Larry Lee Calderhead, 78, of Carroll County, passed away peacefully at his home Oct. 31, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born April 12, 1947, he was the son of Kenneth and Katherine (Brackin) Calderhead, who preceded him in death.
Larry was a lifelong resident of Carroll County and a 1965 graduate of Carrollton High School. He served in Vietnam until 1968 and later retired from HP Products in Louisville in 2012.
In 1990, Larry was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served faithfully to the end.
He is survived by his four children: Jennifer Rahman of Magnolia, Katherine Knarr of Amsterdam, Kenneth Calderhead of Carrollton and Christopher Calderhead of Spencer, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Marlyn Warner, Barbara Schoch and Richard Calderhead.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton. A memorial service will follow Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Carrollton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
