Gregory Raymond Sivets
Gregory Raymond Sivets, 53, of Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly from an underlying medical issue on Nov. 20, 2025.
He was born Oct. 1, 1972, in Steubenville to Mary (Miller) Sivets and the late Larry R. Sivets. In addition to his father, Greg is preceded in death by his son, Tyler Sivets.
He was a devoted member of the Carrollton Believers Fellowship, where he faithfully served on the board. His love for his family and his animals was immeasurable. He worked tirelessly, and everything he did was for them.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Rininger) Sivets; his daughters, Kayla and Ava Sivets; his sisters, Michele (Tom) Berardinelli and Debbie (Jared) Spencer; his mother-in-law, Kim Kohler; his father-in-law, Gary (Lisa) Rininger; his brothers-in-law, Gary Rininger and David (Bronwyn) Rininger; his many nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own; and his grandchildren whom he loved very much, Elliana, Maddox, and Colson.
Friends were received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. with Pastor Fran Leghart officiating.
A committal service was held the following day, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at Bergholz Cemetery at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Greg’s name to the burn unit at Akron Children’s Hospital.
