Our hearts are heavy and full with the passing of our beautiful and loving mother, Nancy E. Meade, 82, of Wooster. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Akron City Summa Hospital.
She was born on April 23, 1943, in Mill Creek, WV to the late Harold and Mary (Brown) Chewning. Nancy graduated from Wooster High School class of 1961 and married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth R. Meade on January 6, 1962; they had been married 58 years when Kenny passed on August 11, 2020.
After the children entered school, Nancy became employed by Citizens National Bank. This was a perfect fit for her to work and be full time mother. She retired from the bank in 2003, that had now become Bank One.
