Charles Terry Herman, 81, of Wooster, passed away on September 18, 2025.
Terry was born on May 22, 1944, to Charles Samuel Herman (1924–2005) and Donna (Troxell) Herman (b. 1927) of Wooster. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1962, where he was a pole vaulter on the track team.
On November 2, 1980, he married Margaret (Crisco) Herman, who survives.
Terry owned and operated B&T Logging until the mid-1980s, later worked at Crown Fiberglass, and retired from the Wooster Brush Company after 15 years of service. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, vintage and classic cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of Wooster Nazarene, where his faith and friendships shaped much of his life.
He is survived by his children: Chris (Jackie) Herman of Columbus Grove, OH; Beth (Eddie) Baker of Killbuck, OH; Eric (Claudia) Aten of Statham, GA; and Wes Aten of Mansfield, OH. Grandchildren: Jessica McAdams of Cincinnati, OH; Matthew McAdams of Columbus Grove, OH; Denise Aten of Statham, GA; Terra Aten of Wooster, OH; Kaitlyn Herman of Dayton, OH; Nicole Aten of Statham, GA; Dylan Aten of Athens, GA; Madison (Colt) Cox of Millersburg, OH; Josh Aten of Statham, GA; and Max Baker of Killbuck, OH. Great-grandchildren: Micah Reynolds of Statham, GA, and expecting his next great-grandchild, Alayah Cox of Millersburg, OH. He is also survived by his siblings: Jerry (Linda) Herman, David (Sue) Herman, Dale (Lynn) Herman, Paul (Mardee) Herman, Susan Herman, Bonnie (BJ) Long, and Kathy (Dan) Sigler.
In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by his brother Roger Herman (1947–2014), whose wife Nancy survives.
