As the nation marked America 250 Transportation Month in April, Orrville-based Jarrett, an award-winning fourth-party logistics (4PL) provider serving customers worldwide, stands as a modern example of how the movement of goods continues to drive economic growth, fuel innovation and shape everyday life across the U.S.

Leveraging advanced technology, including its proprietary transportation management system (TMS) and a 24-hour-per-day, seven-days-per-week Jarrett Routing Center control tower, Jarrett seamlessly connects shippers and carriers while providing continuous visibility and execution support through a team of logistics and technology experts. This technology-driven approach extends across Jarrett’s nationwide network, with more than one million square feet of strategically located warehouse facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Utah, and delivers scalable supply chain solutions to customers nationwide.

Recognized as an industry leader, Jarrett partners with Fortune 500 companies and many of the world’s leading brands to optimize performance, increase visibility and deliver measurable results.

The company was founded more than 27 years ago by Wayne County natives Mike and Diane Jarrett. As the business expanded, the Jarretts chose to remain in Wayne County, reinforcing the region’s role in a network connecting local industry to markets across the country and beyond. Today, the company reflects an enduring connection between transportation, community development and national progress.

To recognize Jarrett’s impact, the Wayne County commissioners presented the company with a Letter of Special Recognition.

“Jarrett is hereby honored as a distinguished homegrown business whose steadfast commitment, visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to service have enriched the fabric of Wayne County,” Commissioner Matt Martin said. “Jarrett has exemplified the values of integrity, innovation and community partnership.”

By maintaining its headquarters in Orrville, Jarrett continues to strengthen the local workforce, support regional industry and demonstrate how a locally rooted business can successfully compete on a global logistics stage.
