Ladies Night Out returns to Wooster from 4:30-7:30 p.m. May 21. The themed downtown evening provides an opportunity to dress in costume, meet up with friends, pick up some swag, dance and win prizes — all while enjoying what downtown Wooster has to offer. No registration is required for the free event.

“Ladies Night Out is a fun night for all the women of our community and surrounding area," said Kerri Kiel, project manager for Main Street Wooster. "We have music where people can dance, vendors on the sidewalks/square and the stores are running specials and themed items.”

The women’s event has been a Wooster tradition for years, with a break during COVID.

This year’s theme is Through the Decades. Main Street Wooster staff members dream up the creative theme ideas, and a promotions committee then votes.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to dress up in the clothes of their favorite decade. Fan of the ’50s? A poodle skirt might be the ticket. Loved the ’60s? Tie-dye and bell-bottoms are an idea. Any decade is fair game for Ladies Night Out 2026.

The popular Ladies Night Out swag bags will be available for the first 400 participants (must be 18 or older and present to grab a bag). Giveaway will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The pavilion will host music and dancing along with a themed photo opportunity. There will be a DJ, along with specials at the downtown restaurants and stores.

On the day of the event, a map and additional information will be provided to those attending. There will be a downtown business passport. Visiting at least five businesses and getting the passport validated and returned to Main Street Wooster staff will enter participants in a drawing to win a gift basket. One winner will be randomly selected to receive the basket, which will include an Edenlife & Company Candle, a $100 Embellish Tattoo Company gift certificate, a $40 The Salt & Serenity Grotto certificate, a Blue Spruce mug and more.

“This event truly is a fun one," Kiel said. “It is always a very beloved one by the ladies in the area, as well as families. All of our events are family-friendly.”
