Wooster boys tennis wins Ohio Cardinal Conference title
Generals win three titles and earn two runner-up finishes at conference tournament
Wooster won the Ohio Cardinal Conference boys tennis title.
The Generals finished with 64 points, edging second-place Lexington (60) by four points.
Wooster wrapped up the OCC title by winning three individual titles and garnering two second-place finishes at the conference tournament May 8 at The College of Wooster.
Wooster swept the conference’s top honors as senior Henry Pozefsky, who won the first singles title, was named Player of the Year, and Justin Crooks was tabbed Coach of the Year.
Andrew James at second singles and the first doubles team of Saxon Ranney and Nick Kakanuru also won titles for the Generals at the conference tourney. Tony Rammel at third singles and the second doubles team of Jake Jung and Nathan Spruell finished second.
