Hill marks 45 years with RBB Systems
Longtime employee has supported electronics manufacturing operations since 1981
RBB Systems is recognizing David Hill Jr., document specialist and materials specialist, for his 45th service anniversary.
Hill began his career with RBB in February 1981 through a vocational school placement program and transitioned into a full-time role later that year. Since then, he has remained a consistent presence through decades of growth, facility expansions and evolving manufacturing technologies.
In the company’s early years, RBB operated as a highly hands-on manufacturing environment where employees supported multiple stages of production. Hill contributed across the full build process, including PCB drilling, assembly, potting, conformal coating and testing, as well as PCB etching and Metalphoto imaging. This broad exposure provided him with a strong foundation in electronics manufacturing operations from start to finish.
In the mid-1990s, Hill transitioned into the stockroom, where he has continued to support operations through multiple facility locations and periods of expansion. In 2011, his role expanded again to include printing routers and production documentation, work that helps maintain accuracy and efficiency across manufacturing workflows and supports RBB’s production teams in meeting delivery requirements.
Beyond his core responsibilities, Hill has trained employees in stockroom processes and documentation procedures and has supported customer tours and internal activities. His experience and steady presence have made him a dependable resource across the organization.
A certified J-STD-001 application specialist, Hill applies a strong understanding of industry workmanship standards and quality expectations in his daily work.
“Forty-five years is a long time, and I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside RBB through many changes," Hill said. "I’m grateful for the experiences, the people I’ve worked with and the support I’ve received throughout my career."
RBB specializes in
