Mattie E. Miller
Mattie E. (Mast) Miller, 89, of Barrs Mills, OH passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
She was born on February 17, 1936, to the late Eli S. J. and Susie E. (Miller) Mast. On September 15, 1955, she married Dan J. Miller, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2011.
Mattie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Wayne) Wengerd of Dalton, Erma (Ura) Burkholder of the home, Susie (Roy) Yoder of Berlin, John (Ada) Miller of Sugarcreek, Katie (Leroy) Erb of Vincent, OH, Esther (John) Miller of Sugarcreek, Nelson (Lovina) Miller of Baltic, Eli (Esther) Miller of Sugarcreek, Ada Miller of the home, Daniel (Mattie) Miller of Sugarcreek; 56 grandchildren; 113 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ada (late Ura) Burkholder of Sugarcreek and Lizzie (late Eli) Wengerd of Dundee.
In addition to her parents and her husband Dan, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Laina Miller.
Funeral services were held at the home, 8409 Nebraska Road NW, Dundee, on Wednesday, October 15, at 9:00 a.m. Bishop Dennis J. Miller officiated. Burial followed in the Burkholder Cemetery. Friends were able to call at the home after 2 p.m. on Monday and any time on Tuesday.
