Joseph Allen Fogle, 79, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed away
peacefully on January 11, 2026, at Sienna Hills Nursing Home in Adena, Ohio. He
was born on June 25,1946, in Barnesville, Ohio, to the late Myron and Gladys
Moore Fogle. Joe was a graduate of Franklin High School. Class of 1964. Joe also earned
his Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America in 1964. After high school,
Joe enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served in Vietnam as a
SEABEE.
Joe carried that CAN DO mentality throughout the rest of
his life spending over 30 years with General Telephone. He also served as
a Cadiz Police officer and the New Athens Police Officer. He was a member
and President of the Cadiz Rotary and the speakers bureau.
Joe transferred
to Indianapolis to finish out his career and retired from GTE. He worked
another 10 years as the cabling and network design supervisor for Comtech in
Indianapolis until moving back to Cadiz.
Joe and Linda moved back to Cadiz to care for aged
parents, Joe started his own cabling company and ran miles of cable through
Harrison County. Throughout all other accomplishments his greatest source
of peace, joy and pride was his family.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by
two brothers, Richard Fogle and Gary Fogle.
Surviving are his
loving wife Linda Rogers Fogle of Cadiz; 2 sons, Scott (Julie) Fogle of
Westerville, Ohio and Shawn (Livy) Fogle of Greenfield, Indiana; 4
grandchildren Anthony Fogle, Shawn Fogle Jr., Jerry Fogle and Sarah Fogle.; two
great grandchildren, Hudson Fogle and Maeven Fogle and twins on the way.

Joe turned CAN DO into DID DO.
Visitation will
be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8 at
Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz. Visitation will be held again on
Friday, January 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the military
service at 12:45 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz. The
funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Paul Giffin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to
the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz-Dennison Road or St Judes Hospital, 501
St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
