Concerns raised over potential data centers in Harrison County
John F. Kendziorski Sr.
John F. Kendziorski Sr., age 81 of Adena, passed away February 5, 2026, at Harrison Community Hospital.
He was born October 18, 1944, in Adena, Ohio, to parents Joseph and Mary (Novak) Kendziorski. John graduated from Adena High School in 1963, and was a member of their basketball team.
He then proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army in the Vietnam War. John later joined the Adena American Legion Post 525.
John went on to have a long career with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as an electrician at the Mingo Junction plant. He enjoyed sitting on his porch, reading the paper, and playing cards.
John is survived by his children: John (Sheelagh Sacks) Kendziorski Jr., Joseph Kendziorski, and Jodi Kendziorski, his grandchildren: Ian and Nicholas Kendziorski, as well as his sisters: Dolores (Norman) Bednarski and Janet Clark.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ted, Ed, Jerry, and Henry Kendziorski, and his half-brother Tom Novak.
Friends and family were received Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Ken Staley at 12:00 PM at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 S Bridge St, Adena, OH 43901. Interment followed with military honors provided by American Legion Post 525 at Olive Branch Cemetery.
