Nora L. Moore
Nora Lee Moore, age 73, of West Lafayette, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born October 19, 1952 to the late Charles E. and Barbara E. (Guilliams) Holder in Coshocton, Ohio.
Nora was a 1971 graduate of Ridgewood High School. On November 23, 1972, she married Charles Lee “Spunk” Moore, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2010.
She worked as a secretary at Kurz-Kasch up until 1974, when her first son was born. From then on, she became a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker.
Nora loved to be outdoors and was extremely creative. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and making ceramics. Most importantly, she adored playing with and spoiling her grandson, Waylon, who she loved dearly.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Moore and Brian Moore, both of West Lafayette; her grandson, Waylon Moore of Coshocton; her sister-in-law, Teresa Jones Holder; her nieces, Rickelle Holder Simmons and Ashleigh Snyder; her great nieces, Maci Snyder and Skyler Ninham; and her great nephews, Gavin and Cayden Ninham, Avery and Tegan Simmons.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Rick Holder.
Per Nora’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
